# Abdulaziz Aljunaydil joins Merak Capital as private equity analyst

Merak Capital has appointed Abdulaziz Aljunaydil as a private equity analyst, joining the Riyadh-based investment firm after nearly two years at real estate investment platform Stake.

Aljunaydil [took to LinkedIn](https://lnkd.in/p/et9ungA7?ref=bijetic.com) to share the news. His move adds to Merak Capital's investment team as the firm continues to operate across private equity, venture capital, credit and other investment areas.

Before joining Merak, Aljunaydil worked as an investment analyst at Stake. During that time, he analysed more than 50 real estate investment opportunities, assessing market conditions, financial performance, expected returns and investment risks.

**Investment experience**

He previously worked as an investment analyst at Aseel, where he helped establish three real estate funds with a combined value of approximately SAR 500 million (\~$133m) and led the follow-up department, overseeing the performance and compliance of 24 existing funds.

Aljunaydil began his career at Amwal Tech, where he worked as a business development intern.

His appointment is the latest personnel update at Merak Capital, which has also announced [several promotions and new hires](https://www.bijetic.com/tag/merak-capital/) across its investment and operations teams in 2026.
