[Danfo Run](https://www.bijetic.com/lagos-run/) creator Adeniran Opeyemi has launched [Eureka Studios](https://www.bijetic.com/eureka-studios/), turning plans he first revealed to Bijetic into a formal games studio.

The Lagos-set browser game that drew more than 140,000 players in its first week and reached 145 countries is the studio's first title.

Opeyemi [previously told Bijetic](https://www.bijetic.com/the-plan-is-to-grow-into-a-proper-games-studio/) he intended to move beyond solo development, saying there were more stories from Nigerian streets than one person could build alone and that growing into a proper games studio was already in motion.

**From solo project to studio**

Eureka Studios aims to build games rooted in local identity and described its mission as making games that feel like home, built around shared roads, jokes and people.

Danfo Run has continued expanding since launch, adding new characters, Google sign-in, and a Lagos Island area built from real roads, including the Third Mainland Bridge, Makoko, Idumota and the Marina.

Opeyemi has said the game will remain free to play, with monetisation planned through brand partnerships and optional cosmetics rather than paywalls.
