MBC Game Studio promotes Trevor Stevens to director of developer experience
He brings years of experience in game development and quality assurance
MBC Game Studio has promoted Trevor Stevens to director of developer experience, putting the experienced quality assurance professional in charge of quality across the company.
Stevens took to LinkedIn to share the news, thanking people he has worked with throughout his career for helping shape him. His new role began this month, following a year as the studio's development services lead.
In that earlier role, Stevens said he worked on a secret project ahead of the studio's announcement at Gamescom 2026. MBC Game Studio revealed its debut game, 1001 Threads of Mizan, at the event in August.
A background in quality assurance
Stevens brings years of experience in game development and quality assurance. Before joining MBC Game Studio, he worked as development support director at Famico Studios.
He also spent more than five years at First Contact Entertainment, where he held the role of king of developer support from 2021 to 2024. Earlier in his career, Stevens worked at Insomniac Games as a senior quality assurance tester between 2017 and 2018.
Before that, he spent more than eight years at Naughty Dog, where he served as multiplayer quality assurance lead from 2008 to 2017.
MBC Game Studio is developing 1001 Threads of Mizan, a cooperative action-adventure inspired by One Thousand and One Nights, for PC and consoles.
