Overview
Middle East Innovation Week (MEIW) is a regional programme that connects technology and innovation communities through locally organised events, workshops, conferences and networking activities. It brings together founders, investors, companies, universities, accelerators and government organisations across the Middle East.
Rather than operating as one conference at a single venue, MEIW brings together independent events under a shared regional programme. Activities in 2026 took place across Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, with each market hosting events suited to its local startup and innovation community.
Techne Summit Cairo and Alexandria were two of the programme's main events. Other activities included community meetups, startup sessions and technology events organised by different partners.
MEIW aims to improve connections between regional innovation communities and create more opportunities for collaboration, investment and business development across the region.
