Five appointments and promotions were tracked across the MENA and Africa games industry in October, spanning a Saudi-backed studio, a Dubai government body, two mobile publishers, and a Riyadh investment firm.

MBC Game Studio [promoted Trevor Stevens to director of developer experience](https://www.bijetic.com/mbc-game-studio-promotes-trevor-stevens-to-director-of-developer-experience/), with Stevens drawing on years of experience in game development and quality assurance. MBC Group backs the studio and is developing the Arabian fantasy action-adventure [1001 Threads of Mizan](https://www.bijetic.com/1001-threads-of-mizan/).

**Publishers and investors**

Tamatem Games [promoted Yousef Sadaqa to senior data engineer](https://www.bijetic.com/tamatem-games-promotes-yousef-sadaqa-to-senior-data-engineer/) as the Amman-based publisher continues to expand its mobile publishing operation across the MENA region.

Rounding out the month, Riyadh-based Impact46 [appointed Faisal Alahmed as investment analyst](https://www.bijetic.com/impact46-appoints-faisal-alahmed-as-investment-analyst/). Alahmed was previously an investment analyst intern at the firm.
