Rogun Army
Rogun Army is a free local multiplayer party shooter that runs without an internet connection. One player hosts a match on their device and others join locally, with support for 16 or more players in the same room.
It can also be played solo. The game was inspired by Mini Militia - Doodle Army, the offline multiplayer shooter its developer grew up playing.
Developer: Lerato Mothata (a.k.a ForbiddenBoX))
Country: South Africa
Genre: Action, Shooter, Local multiplayer, Party
Platform: Mobile
Status: Released
Why it matters: Rogun Army is a solo project by a 17-year-old South African developer, built in Unity with its own local networking. Its offline design means players need no data connection, only a group of friends in the same space.
