Overview
Vatar is a social worlds company building immersive, realistic worlds inspired by real cities and real people. Its first world, Lagos Life, is a free multiplayer browser game where players rent flats, run side hustles, drive danfo buses, vote for a governor and meet their crew for city events.
The company is led by co-founders Shalom Rayhamen (CEO and CTO), Owen Rayhamen (CPO) and Anderson Oriahi (CBDO).
Lagos Life launched on October 1st, 2026, inspired in part by The Sims 3 and Lagos Run, and now runs in three cities: Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. Vatar says its next city is in development, with the ambition of bringing new cities online around the world.
