Impact46 appoints Faisal Alahmed as investment analyst
He was previously an investment analyst intern at the firm
Saudi investment firm Impact46 has appointed Faisal Alahmed as an investment analyst, adding to its team as it continues to invest in the games industry.
Alahmed announced the appointment on LinkedIn, sharing that he had started a new position at the firm.
His appointment comes as Impact46 continues to back game companies and support the growth of Saudi Arabia's gaming sector.
Supporting Saudi games investment
Impact46 has become an active investor in Saudi Arabia's games sector. In an interview with PocketGamer.biz, senior fund manager Eric Husny confirmed that the firm had invested in 16 gaming companies.
The firm is prioritising Saudi-based studios while remaining open to opportunities in other Middle Eastern markets, especially companies with plans to expand into Saudi Arabia.
Impact46's gaming investments include studios working across mobile, PC and console games. In August 2025, the firm announced more than $6.7 million in investments across five Saudi developers through its SAR 150m ($40m) Gaming Fund.
Husny has said the Saudi games ecosystem has become more attractive to investors due to growth in talent, infrastructure and commercial results. He also noted that investors look beyond game development, assessing how studios plan to attract users, retain audiences and build sustainable businesses.
