Joseph Ojo plans online game Lagos Online after Danfo Simulator launch

Nigerian developer Joseph Ojo plans to launch Lagos Online, an online game set in the world of his new title Danfo Simulator: Open World, within one or two months of its release.

Ojo, founder of Lagos-based Rock and Paper Studios, told Bijetic in an interview that he wants to expand the game beyond driving danfos and build a larger experience based on life in Lagos.

Expanding the world of Danfo Simulator

Danfo Simulator launched on Android and PC on October 27th, 2026. The game puts you behind the wheel of a danfo bus as you pick up passengers, follow routes and navigate traffic across a fictional version of Lagos.

Ojo said his original plan was to build a much larger open-world game set in the city. He began testing the world by adding a danfo to drive around, but the experience was so enjoyable that he decided to focus on the driving simulator instead.

The developer is funding his work through his own resources and freelance projects. He has also said he wants to hear feedback from players after launch and use it to guide future updates.
