Lagos Life launches biggest update yet with new game modes

Lagos Life developer Shalom Rayhamen has rolled out what they described as the game's biggest update yet, adding new game modes, a paint shop, big companies, higher limits and more.

The update expands the Host role, which now covers tasks tied to Hust, Live, Festival, and the Daily Bonus, alongside leaderboards that track top hosts weekly.

A new seven-step story called Weekly Hunt was also added, unlocking daily through traffic hotspots, with rewards scaling by level.

New jobs, modes and companies

Players can now take on Receptionist, Delivery Runner, Counter, and Office Star roles, alongside a returning Ride Keke Nation job. City Albums let players document activities and city hotspots for sale. Trading rules now limit free trades to friends only, with paid trades priced by rarity.

A new City Ladder adds ten neighbourhoods, each with its own set of resident tiers from Workers up to Billionaires, alongside Life Goals tied to each tier. Crews can now level up with weekly rewards, member goals, and dueling.

City Raids run as daily co-op events offering a chance at bronze, silver or gold scoring tiers. City Cup and Seats in God Times, Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt now offer sports courts with league play.

Season and event tiers were added alongside purchasable season and city passes. A new feature lets players call in third party vendors, including a partnership integration shown in the thread. Big companies can now hire staff and offer verified badges, while item limits were raised and new facial hairstyles, boats, gadgets and restaurant features were added.

Rayhamen also teased further features including custom house themes, a new in-game currency called Domcoin, a revamped Transaction PIN security flow, and new ways to earn Naira through activities like ride-hailing and driving school.
