Rock And Paper Studios launches Danfo Simulator: Open World
The game features areas inspired by real parts of Lagos, including the Third Mainland Bridge
Rock And Paper Studios has launched Danfo Simulator: Open World, an open world driving simulation set in Lagos, Nigeria. The game is now available on Android and PC, with an iOS version planned.
Players take the wheel of a danfo bus, picking up passengers, following routes across the city and navigating traffic as they work through a full day, from the first fare to the last drop-off.
The game features areas inspired by real parts of Lagos, including the Third Mainland Bridge, Oke Arin and Ebute Metta, with players able to travel from Ikorodu to Ajah while hearing Lagos-style chatter and Pidgin banter from passengers and other drivers.
Built by one developer
Danfo Simulator is built by solo developer Joseph Ojo using Unity Engine. Ojo previously told Bijetic that he saw the game as bigger than a passing trend, choosing to finish the project properly rather than rush it out to catch the recent wave of Lagos-set web games.

The launch adds Danfo Simulator to a growing list of games drawing directly on Lagos locations and daily life, following titles like Danfo Run and Lagos Life.
Danfo Simulator is now available on itch.io and the Google Play Store.
